Exception Report Handling
- Polling Mechanism: The INNPM01 polls all control modules within the process control unit for exception reports.
- Report Triggers: Control modules generate an exception report when a designated point changes significantly.
- Additional Triggers: Reports also occur when the maximum time expires or when an alarm condition changes.
LED Indicators & Controls
- Status LED: Solid green indicates execute mode. Solid red signals a hardware failure or configuration issue.
- CPU LEDs: Eight CPU LEDs display error codes when the status LED is red.
- Stop/Reset Button: A pushbutton on the faceplate allows you to stop or reset the module.
- LED Off: Indicates no power is supplied to the INNPM01.
Edge Connector Pin Assignment (P1)
- Power Connections: +5 VDC on pins 1 and 2. Common on pins 5 and 6.
- Communication: Controlway B on pin 4. Controlway A / Module Bus on pin 11.
- Monitoring Signals: Power Supply Status on pin 3. Power Fail Interrupt on pin 9.
- Unused Pins: Pins 7, 8, 10, and 12 are reserved and have no connection.
