The GE Multilin UR-8AH CT/VT Module is an integral component of the Universal Relays (UR) series, designed to provide precise monitoring and protection for power systems. This module is equipped with three 1A/5A Phase Current Transformers (CTs), 1A/5A Ground CTs, and 4 Voltage Transformers (VTs), which allow the Universal Relay to scale down voltage and current values for accurate system analysis. It also enhances operational safety by grounding portions of the transformer’s secondary winding. The UR-8AH module is compatible with earlier firmware versions (3.5x or earlier) and is typically paired with older Multilin CPU modules such as the UR-9A, UR-9C, or UR-9D.
