Installation Guidelines:

Supports connection of up to 9 units per bus segment

For non-redundant ESB bus systems, install in Slot 7 of the AFV or A2FV series base units

Slot 8 must be covered by a dummy module if not used

For redundant systems, EC401-51 modules must be installed in both Slot 7 and Slot 8

System Compatibility:
Only Style Code S3 or later of the EC401-51 module is compatible with Yokogawa CP471 processor module, ensuring future-ready operation in advanced system architectures.
