Does the TSXDSY08R5 require an external power supply?
Yes. The module draws coil power from the field side. You must supply 24V DC or 24–240V AC to the common terminals based on your load voltage. -
How do I suppress inductive load arcing?
For AC loads, install a 0.1 µF + 100Ω RC snubber across the contact. For DC loads, place a 1N4007 flyback diode in parallel with the load coil. -
Can I mix AC and DC loads on the same module?
Yes, but not within the same common group. Each common terminal must connect to one voltage type. Assign AC loads to one common group and DC loads to another. -

With resistive load, maximum operating rate is 10 operations per second. Inductive loads require longer off-time to dissipate arc energy. -
